Alrighty, seems some people are curious today, aye? I guess so if you're looking at this page. Lately, I've had a lot of Nostalgia by looking at old sites I once worked on (Like Sega Team HQ, Greatest Works of Sci-Fi ever!, etc.) And Talking to some old internet friends that talked to me when this was still "Ryan's Sonic Site!" 1-2 years ago. (SimSonic, Ankou...) So I felt I needed to make this page.

Actually this isn't the first history page I've made. I've made a "retro page" on my old site, Ryan's Sonic Site. But that idea died out quickly after my site died in September of 2001.

Hmm? Oh I never told you about what "Ryan's Sonic Site!" was. That is... this site. Ryan's Sonic The Hedgehog Site! is what this site was called through most of this site's age. I doubt you people reading this know about my old site. There are some who know or knew about it, but not too many.

Alrighty. maybe I'll actually start now. This site was approximately made on the date of May 9th, 1999. But really, I'm not even sure about that. (Info on when this site was really made is way past me. There is nothing on the net or anywhere saying a specific date, I just gave it a good guess in 2000 when the site was started.) When I made the site, it was pretty... well... shitty. If you look at the Cheats Page on the site, you'll find out it says the roots of my site was cheats. Thats no mistake or misprint. In May of 1999, the only thing I put on my site was cheats! (with the exception of the Tails Page which ended up turning into Tailman Team!) After 5/16/99 (I'm sure about that date) I stopped working on my site. You could call that one week the site's first era.

After about a whole year, I decided to put up a new page on my site. The ROMS page was put up on my site in March of 2000. After I put it up however, I stopped working on it again.

My site probably would still be a lost site on the net if it wasn't for my little brother. My little brother, out of nowhere, started annoying me like crazy til' I worked on my site. After a while, just to get my little bro away from me, I decided to work on the site. That day was 8/12/2000.

And so starts the 2nd era of my site. I found out that through over a year, my site only got a measly 180 hits. Yeah, thats pretty bad. I started to redesign the whole thing, but not too much die to my little knowledge of HTML at the time. But it worked. After a week, my site gained about 5 pages, all having a good amount of content. (The Tails Page was deleted, Cheats pages stayed, and the ROMS page was totally remade.) I got my first affilates, and my first award. (In my site's life, it got 16 awards. I do not have those anymore, however, I'll tell you why later.) My first award came from the now defunct "Sonic's Sega Site!" Yeah, I miss that site. Oh well. Tailman Team! was started on 8/14/2000 because of my little bro complaning there was no Tails Page anymore, so he made a whole Tails site! He's still working on the site.

After that time passed by, my bro turned my site into a framed site. (it was a big deal back then.) And my site started its 3rd era. This era gave birth to 2 sites I made, both pretty dead. And also the Sci-Sonic Net., and the whole copyright thing smacked me in the face for the first time.

The 3rd era was also the start of Sonic Enterprises! In August of 2001, the site's name was changed to Sonic Enterprises due to the problem of me not wanting to be called by my real name anymore. (It was changed to -=Sonic2001=-, then to -=Sonic2002=- and now, ~=Sonic2K3=~) I actually had a Staff back then! But now the whole staff is seperated. Oh well.

Alot of things was going downhill in the 3rd era. My site was getting bombarded with e-mails from Rlan of SFGHQ, and Dan from SonicRoms.co.uk. I stole their files, and they weren't happy with me. I ended up fixing that up, but the whole copyright thing was not over. I also was not working on my site near as much as I once was, and the staff disappeared, leading it to go nowhere.

Angelfire delivered the final blow to the 3rd era of my site and my old domain at http://www.angelfire.com/mn/sonic. They took down the site because I was somehow going against their "policies." I still don't know why they killed my site, and all the stuff that was on the site was deleted with the closure of my site. I was very frustrated at Angelfire, but I did not want to make a new site. So, Sonic Enterprises was dead...

...for a while anyways.

In January of 2002, I finally got back to working on this site by 1)getting a new Angelfire s/n (I couldn't find anywhere else to go, even if I hold a grudge against Angelfire to this day) and 2) Getting a new design. Most people probably remember my old black layout and logo. I had pretty much nothing on my site now, but I started work. Starts the 4th era. This era lasted til' about a week or 2 ago. There is really nothing big about this era except for me making my Sonic News Page. Everything else was just a remake of what happened before.

This is really the 5th era of my site. This era has about 3-6 new pages in it already,(I suck at counting) many more affiliates, a new server, and a new layout which you can see right now.

Well, thats the history of Sonic Enterprises. I like going down memory lane, and this is another thing to prove that. Well, I hope you had fun! :P ^^
